Wichita Weather during Different Seasons

Spring
The spring season in Wichita usually occurs during the months of March, April and May. Wichita is the largest city in Kansas and is known for its bright lights and nonstop adventures. The most recommending spot in Wichita during the spring season is the Botanica Gardens; which is the home of 30 different unique and beautiful gardens that can be guaranteed to be at its best during the spring season.
Summer
The summers in Wichita are extremely hot and are accompanied by a lot of activities. Wichita’s summers see a vast amount of sunshine; which results in a number of water related activities. Summer in Wichita means that school is out, therefore the various parks in Wichita are usually full during this season; with parents and kids, a group of friends, or young and old enjoying their summer day in the park.
Wichita, unfortunately, does not have any beaches; at least it didn’t, not until recently when the citizens of Wichita were introduced to their first pop-up beach. Wichita is now not only the places where you can engage in a river day but also the place where you can have a beach day. Two perfectly viable Wichita summer day activities are either going to the river or going to the beach.

The autumn season precedes winter and follows summer. In Wichita is season materializes with a significant amount of rain. True to most other regions as it is in Wichita, autumn is the season where the leaves fall off the trees, the atmosphere gets colder, and the rain becomes more frequent.
During the autumn season in Wichita, there is a must see annual event call the Autumn and Art, which comprises of three days of art and entertainment.
